ohmm® was conceived after kevin boland, the founder took a sabbatical from corporate life to fulfill a life long ambition – to build his own villa. he soon realised that the choice of outdoor furniture was very limited – mainly just teak, which was heavy, high maintenance and very traditional.
having discovered a new genre in outdoor furniture – synthetic rattan – kevin with his architectural leanings, immediately saw an opportunity. synthetic rattan offers the latitude for design and durability and a refreshing change in the look and feel of one’s outdoor space.
